SOCIAL EVENT

The board appointed a committee to plan a social event July 4th.  Jennifer Rich is committee chair.  If you wish to assist please contact management or Jennifer.

This is intended to give residents the opportunity to socialize with neighbors and enjoy the holiday.  Organization is needed along with suggestions from residents.  This event will not be poolside.

POOL AREA RULES

The current pool area rules are on the green sheet included with this newsletter.  Please review them so that all in your household are aware of the rules.  All residents are requested to keep noise to a minimum so that those living around the pool areas are not disturbed.  Your cooperation will be appreciated by all residents!

POOL KEYS

If you need a new pool key, or have lost your key, the replacement cost is $15.00.  You can mail a check/money order for $15.00 to management and the key will be mailed back to you.  Please make sure you note your unit address when you sent in the payment for a pool key.  Tenants need to contact the owner of the unit and the owner can send a request in writing to purchase the pool key.  The key will be returned to the owner who has the obligation to turn over to the tenant.

SECURITY – VANDALISM

Vandalism of signs, poolroom lock, and landscape have occurred over the past two months.  One unit was burglarized and a couple of cars broken into.  If you observe any damage being caused, please call the Police and report what you saw.  For noise, parking, or pool issues you may call Bel-Carlos Patrol at 650-595-5522 for assistance.

ANNUAL MEETING

The annual meeting will be held on May 12, 2004.  The location is poolside at 6:30 PM.  Management has mailed unit owners information that includes an agenda, proxy form, 2003 annual minutes, candidate form for the board, and tax resolution information.  Owners not able to attend are asked to fill out a proxy form and mail to Management.

GARAGES AND PARKING CARS

It is apparent to Board members that there are some owners using their garages as storage locations or have decided to use them for other purposes.  Those owners with enclosed garages need to be sure their garages are available to park vehicles inside.  It will be appreciated by all those living in the Mission Palo Alto and will free up common area parking for visitors!
